I'm Shamsul Arefin Khan Shams (সামসুল আরেফিন খান সামস), born on 4 September 2004 in Kotwali, Chattogram, with roots in Raozan. I've spent most of my life in a uniform. The uniforms kept changing. The way I work never did.
At twelve I walked into Faujdarhat Cadet College, and for seven years it taught me that routine beats mood. I left as Best Cadet, with Board Scholarships at JSC (2017) and SSC (2020, GPA 5). I won Best Commander in the Novices' Drill Competition (at 6 ft 1.5 in, I was easy to spot), first place in Azan and Qirat, and prizes for writing, debate, MUN and quizzes. I ran multimedia as Content Supervisor and wrote research articles on teenagers and social media, plus study guides in pharmacology and mathematics.
In 2022 I joined the Bangladesh Military Academy as an officer cadet and was nominated for the Infantry Elementary Commanding Course in China. Fifty-two days in, I chose medicine. With no coach and no private tutor, I prepared for medical admission in 22 days and got into Chittagong Medical College, the second-oldest and second-largest medical institute in Bangladesh, where I'm now in fourth year. Alongside it I built SRAIK, a channel of 104K+ subscribers and a career in digital strategy. Bangla is home; English is how I work. Off duty: football (Messi, always), chess and carrom.
